  1. OOOH....looks great! It is weird how every area is different. We had a first floor, rooms separated out, windows in and stairs leading to nowhere upstairs before they put the second level up. We're at the same stage, so I'll have to go over tonight to see if we have shingles too! It's been raining most of the day, so who knows!

  3. Wow that went up fast! It looks Amazing!!! You 4 must be so excited!!!! You need some spring up there to accent your beautiful house. Mother nature keeps giving you grey days to take your pictures on. Shame on her ;) Shes just jealous :)

  4. Your house is looking beautifully! Funny thing about the shingles at my new house apparently they did not order enough shingles and the house was only half done with the shingles it looked funny. Our PM admitted to me that they had to order more somehow there was an error in the order. I thought it was hilarious but it took about a week and a half for the new shingles to arrive and yesterday they were able to complete the roof full of shingles. At least there were no error with the shingles on your part.

Your house is great cannot wait to see the next step.

  5. @ stephanie ..that sucks about the shingles. Did a lot of water get on your floors? Our floors had so much water from two days with no roof! Glad you finally have one now! @ new build...Thank you! We need spring so bad!!!! We are on our way to the house now...it is pouring and 56. This weather is ridiculous ..they said we has 47 day of rain out of 60! Crazy! I need sun!!!!!

  9. The distinctive beauty of cedar shingles never fails to delight our houses. Aside from its appealing looks, that material is so durable that can resist insects, and the worst elemental damage. A combination of aesthetics and durability: That is truly a must, considering the today’s economic situation; we can’t afford to keep paying for maintenance and repairs. As much as possible, we would want to get more for our money.
