Not happy with Ryan!!

I have no patience to begin with BUT when I started this process, my dream, this is not how I imagined it! Broke ground on supposed to break ground March 28th, not sure why but got delayed until April 2! Footer finally poured when we went 8! Found out when we drove out that week they found coal and everything got dug back up and started over....by April 15th new footer was poured! April 27th we had block....May 2 they did waterproofing and backfill! Went May 7th and seen not one but 2 other houses being framed..one of which was not even started a few weeks ago??? Our lumbar has been sitting for 3 weeks now!! This whole week since monday NOT one thing got done on our house....in 5 weeks we have block? If you were me would you complain?

  1. Absolutely! However, not until I've calmed down our tried to. The best thing to do now is to schedule a meeting with your pm on site to discuss what complications have caused additional or what appears to be additional delay. There may be a vaild reason why itstill in this phase....idk. This will allow for open communication between you guys and possibly ease, or at least explain the lack of progress. Hang in there, I know we all want our homes to be done right now...lol it will get there!

  2. I would definitely call your PM and schedule some time to talk. It is not normal for lumber to sit for 3 weeks like that and if there is something else going on then you should know about it.

  3. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY COMPLAIN!! AND LOUDLY!! There is NO reason for you lumber to be sitting there 3 weeks and then they start framing other houses started after yours first.

It can't be good for the lumber to be just sitting out in the elements for three weeks....

  4. Call your PM now! That is what your PM is for. Please call him and explain how unhappy you are right now. If explain now hopefully get some issues addressed now instead of having more issues pop up later. Talk with your sales rep start some action. If it was me I would be upset and demanding some answers. Please do let us know what is happening and what the delays are. Sending you some hugs and hoping to hear some good news.

  5. Agree with everyone above...you need to open up those communication channels with your PM. Get to the bottom of the current issue, but you should also be getting some sort of regular communication, especially since things have been delayed. You should have to drive by to find these surprises...

  6. I also agrea with all! You are owed an explanation and maybe even a new lot!!! It seems like there are some issues with it that haven't been clearly communicated! I can imagine how frustrating this must be! Just remember though, that in the end, you will have a house no matter what.
