We are so excited! Pulled contingency and ready to build!

Wow! I am soooo excited to get Started! We were so lucky that our house sold in less than a month...no houses in our area have been selling. We got very close to asking price too. We were contingent, so everything was already picked out. We far exceeded our original budget. So here is what we are getting.

Victoria falls Elevation D..we added another full bath on 1st floor and connected it to the study (which will be my special needs sons room)

Cherry Bordeaux cabinets

Upgraded master bath

Moved laundry to 2nd floor master closet

Morning room

Finished basement with full bath and media room

All brushed nickel

Stainless steel appliances

All upgraded carpet and padding except basement

Hardwood floors in foyer, dining room, kitchen, and morning room

Crown and chair molding

Side entry garage

Brick front

Fireplace and tray ceiling

4" extension in great room

Light package B

Recessed lighting in basement and kitchen

Drain in garage

May be more just trying to remember everything! Love all the tips I am getting from here

  2. I have to ask, where are building in Pittsburgh? Another VF, I'm beside myself. I also didn't know that 2nd floor laundry was an option. However, if I read your explaination right, we would have lost a closet. You're a brave person, lol.

I have to be honest, I couldn't read all of Kody's story. I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 2. Back then the drs gave my parents an option of giving me up because they stated I would end up mentally retarded. Well they were wrong. I'm not mentally retarded and I haven't had a seizure since I was 8. I know I'm blessed, but I wanted to share my story to give you hope. I understand his condition is more serious than mine, but my heart told me to start typing this so here I am, lol. He's an awesome boy and you have a wonderful loving family which you can see by the smile on his face. :-)

  4. Awww Thank you guys so much! My kids are my life! Kody just had his hips, arm and ankles done and while in rehab at the childrens institute they broke his femur! I really need this change. He just went back to school yesterday after 4 months. I am a little worried about interest rates right now! We are building in Washington county in majestic hills! We are losing some of our closet in one of the 2 master bedroom closets. No big deal...not used to having a big closet anyways and had to lose the laundry on 1st floor because that will be Kodys full bath connected to his bedroom!
